Identity Relating to the World

God uses scripture to teach his people how they must identify in the faith. This list of virtues directs the believer's heart and mind toward adopting the identities relevant to their relationship with the world.

Inwardly

Romans 2:29 KJV - "But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God."

Peculiar - People/Treasure

Deuteronomy 14:2 KJV - "For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth."

Deuteronomy 26:18 KJV - "And the LORD hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;"

Titus 2:14 KJV - "Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works."
